Jibz A familiar aircraft for many a former Air Cadet, this is the de Havilland Chipmunk. Filmed by Jibz TV just as the Covid 19 lockdown was coming to an end, we hope the film reminds a lot of people of their first ever taste of taking to the skies.
Jibz TV is proud to have been invited by South Yorkshire Aircraft Museum to film ‘walkaround’ videos of many of their exhibits. This is their DHC-1 Chipmunk T.10 ‘WB733’. Built in 1950, this iconic basic trainer served for many years and was many a pilot’s first taste of flight. It now stands proudly on permanent display at Aeroventure, on the site of the former RAF Doncaster. Well worth a visit for any aeroplane enthusiast and now re-open following the Covid 19 lockdown.
